Lightspeed Internet Ltd is a licensed Network Service Provider, regulated by the Communications Authority of Kenya.
We started by solving a specific problem: students on Kenyan campuses could not get internet that held up when everyone in the hostel came online at once. Retail connections were never designed for that, and institutions could not carry the cost of connecting every student individually.
So we built networks for it. Today we are the primary internet provider for students at universities and technical colleges across the country, and we run those networks ourselves — our own engineers, our own monitoring, our own technicians on the ground.
That same engineering now serves homes, apartment blocks, estates and businesses. The requirement is the same everywhere: a connection that is there when someone reaches for it.
